It’s Rodeo Time!

What a month it has been for the students of La Feria Early College High School! Whether it’s baseball, track & field, our State Qualifying Powerlifting Boys and Girls teams, tennis, and our exciting 85th Annual Livestock Show, just to name a few… we are proud of all of you and would like to give a shout to the hard working students and teachers that participated in this year’s Rio Grande Valley Livestock show, something many of students look forward to every year. It has been around since 1939, and has known to feature local and national vendors, a carnival, live musical performances, an entertaining rodeo that includes extreme bull riding, and most importantly, our students that work hard to raise to cattle, pigs, chickens, rabbits, sheep, and goats, just to name a few. Today’s modern livestock teaches our students about hard work and responsibility that can earn them cash earned prizes, scholarships, and spectators. We are very proud of all of the participants and we look forward to next year’s exhibits. Congratulations everyone!
